  A Book Review of Beatiful Losers by: Leonard Cohen             “Beautiful Losers” is a densely sullen, brutally honest book from the perspective of an author seeking to emerge on the other side of his research and personal life. I did not dictate which author this book could have been from the perspective of. As I concluded that it could have been somebody unheard of or overshadowed by popular authors of his time. It occurred to me first that it was autobiographical of Leonard Cohen himself. Then after reading through quotations in French I thought it could have been a fictitious American researcher interested in the Raconteurs that emerged in a French literary movement. After investigating further the best guess there is Henry Miller.
