God's Love and Self Love

The Wayfaring Christain Blog God’s Love versus Self Love             Consumption, indulgence, earthly, and bodily pleasures can mimic and imitate why we are really looking to God. However; even if we dine and drink till the sun goes down or comes up, we may be missing something that is a genuine aspect of faith in a higher power. We may be missing protection from God, something that substances and bodies cannot always do. They can even deceive us and lead us down a dark path of unhealthiness and despair.             As a continuous visitor and reader of the Alcoholics Anonymous book, I am reminded that God plays a valuable justification and role in the strength for health I get from my daily practices. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 KJV “But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you and keep you from evil”. Taking Turns and Sharing

The Wayfaring Christian Blog Understanding Turns Sometimes our peers beat us, and they don’t even communicate to care who they left behind. It may be within our fury and frustration that we contributed significantly to something that we are not being rewarded for. We think they are bragging in their success, but we must note that they are just being reinforced in God’s plan. God trusts some of us with patience and sobriety every day. This kind of ethic is more important than sailing ahead. Sometimes our loyalty is to the place that we are currently designated toward. We must understand this when it comes to advancement and timeline lineage. Life is Eco systematic as a creation, but also a gift. Obligation is truly a big worry sometimes in a life that feels controlled by a society filled with pl...

Songs About Girls, Sacrifices, and Accidents (Album)

You do not always have a band, and you do not always have a girlfriend. The sad truth of the matter is sometimes it is possible to push everyone away. Bitterness and resentment really will not help get back what we have pushed away, and it certainly won't help heal what is inside of us. This is what wisdom told me, and at first it was hard to listen. I continued with God through adversity, and tribulation. I was glad that God and wisdom were the right path to take. If you are trying to heal, cope, survive, etc. This album might be for you.

Proverbs and Family

Image
I was compelled to write proverbs for various reasons. I heard a preacher say something about how we cope with business and family as usual. I took it upon myself to read and write what I had practiced here. To this day proverbs helps me when I need to straighten up and be the sober person I know I can be. Proverbs – From The Holy Bible The Purpose of Proverbs 1.       These are the proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel. 2.       Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. 3.       Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. 4.       These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young. 5.       Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those...
