Gone Girl (2014) Movie Review

I'm doing a brief review from the vault here. I'm not sure I can tolerate what this movie did to my psyche at the time or from remembrance, but since I'm just blogging here I want to get down to it. First I'll review the style. Then I'll get into content which I was much more impressed with. The film itself is one of many Tom Clancy stealth lensed B-Movie scan cam radar junkyard scouter scope cinematography movies that the original Cloverfield inspired just to irritate your headache from Blair witch project. At least they knew to not joggle a first person viewpoint along with a coded rim outside of every midshot. The tone reflects nausea as much as the sleekness of the Matrix series. Ushering Gone Girl into a cluttered cabinet full of latter day Bourne Identity Films. The themes clearly express a cultural trend of sabotage through hysterical actions. Surrounded By Narcissists by: Thomas Erikson (A Review)

I firmly believe that the detection of narsissism is more than just pop psychology. A serious mistake in this book was to ignore the high level research conducted in the past few years considering mental illness. The responsibility of the reader here is what does justice to the study, a trained reader in the field might see Erickson as superficial and underread. He cites one of closest competitors Jordan B. Peterson, but completely ignores Steven Pinker. Emotional accountability and the thorough study and evaluation of symptoms are truly required. Swedish author _____ detests the grandiose meta arrogance of narcissists or so he proclaims with little personal recognition and disclosure. A possible red flag for readers whom have experience in the subject. Yet the book is based in fact with stats that are useful and applicable.
