In An Ellipses (Poem June 1, 2025)
I tried to be a savior
With a mind of great solution
Never weary was my wonderment
Ever resilient in truth and justice
With a mind of great solution
Never weary was my wonderment
Ever resilient in truth and justice
I tried to be a hero
As the virtue of a noble
A cotter struck my amygdala
With the sword of iron justice
As my glee withered away
Into astronomical oblivion
In a meditative pose
I transferred through a test
A journey of Oh, 7 years
To discover equity and peace
I sailed the cosmos on foot
To reform my scattered glee
Then I tried to be a soldier
With the virtues found anew
The rejection of what my cunning
Threw me back into
All of my ways in an ellipses
Obedient to justice and respectful of entropy
To increase my gratitude
For the glory of higher power
